About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in system design, technical discussions, and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop secure and reusable backend components and services.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Implement best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Mentor junior developers and support team growth.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience in:
- Java 8/11/17+Spring BootSpring MVCSpring Security
- Hibernate / JPAExpertise in:
- Microservices architectureRESTful API development
- Multithreading and concurrency
- Design patterns and OOP concepts
- Experience with:
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle
- Messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQGood understanding of:
- Docker & KubernetesCI/CD pipelines
- Git, Maven, GradleUnit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
- Cloud exposure:
- AWS / Azure / GCPFamiliarity with:
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- SonarQube, Jenkins, NexusAPI Gateway and service discovery tools
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.8+ years of experience in Java backend development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
