Responsibilities: Work will vary by project and may include: Reviewing high-resolution clinical images of skin lesions and identifying dermatological conditions. Describing images with key medical attributes, including lesion color, shape, morphology, and distribution. Assessing skin health, severity, or progression from images, and evaluating how well AI-generated assessments hold up clinically. Writing clear guidelines and criteria that define what a high-quality dermatological assessment of an image looks like. Providing clinical insight to improve model understanding and classification of dermatological presentations. Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to medical and project standards..Requirements Medical degree (M.D.) with anactive, unrestricted U.S. medical license .Minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical dermatology experience(practicing or previously practiced).Strong ability to identify and describe dermatological conditions using precise medical terminology. Prior experience with image annotation or medical education preferred. English fluency required.

Contract and Payment TermsYou will be engaged as an independent contractor. This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule. Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance. Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution. Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
