Product Design Engineer (II)

Location: Atlanta, GA (100% Onsite)

What You'll Do: Create and modify 2D AutoCAD layouts for data center deployments. Plan and optimize rack, cabinet, and equipment placement within existing data center space. Support IT system deployment by ensuring efficient utilization of floor space and infrastructure. Collaborate with Product Engineering and Data Center Design teams to implement deployment plans. Update project documentation, layouts, and planning information using Google Sheets, Excel, and Google Slides. Recommend layout improvements to maximize space utilization while meeting deployment requirements. Required Qualifications2–4+ years of experience using AutoCAD (2D).Hands-on experience working in a data center environment.Experience with physical IT infrastructure deployment, rack layouts, equipment placement, or data center floor planning. Strong understanding of space planning and infrastructure layout optimization. Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting Data Center Infrastructure or Facilities projects. Technical Program Management (TPM) experience in data center deployments. Experience with capacity planning or infrastructure planning. Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Excel.
