About the role

Role Overview: The Pharmacist provides safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmaceutical care, developing and monitoring evidence-based pharmacotherapy plans to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized pharmaceutical care and coordinate resources for efficient service. Interpret and clarify physicians' medication orders, review medication profiles for safety and interactions. Assess prescribing practices, suggest formulary alternatives, and consult with medical staff on drug therapy issues. Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and conduct patient discharge medication consultations. Participate in rounds, calculate drug dosages, verify orders, and prepare specialized medications using aseptic techniques. Manage inventory, supervise pharmacy staff and students, and collaborate with medical and nursing teams to resolve pharmacy-related issues. Assist in reviewing departmental policies and ensure compliance with standards. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Doctoral preferred), strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, excellent communication, attention to detail, and leadership skills. Experience in clinical settings and working with diverse healthcare teams is essential.
