Commercial Construction Superintendent
Location: Charlotte, NC
Compensation: $80,000 to $110,000 + project-based performance bonuses

You are the field leader from mobilization to closeout, coordinating trades, protecting the schedule, and addressing issues before they turn into delays. This role carries real responsibility and real authority — nothing moves forward in the field without your sign-off.

You build momentum, and you protect it. Field ownership You own the jobsite. From day one to final turnover, you are accountable for:

What You'll Do:
  • Lead daily jobsite operations from mobilization through closeout
  • Plan and manage sequencing, manpower, and weekly lookaheads
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization across the site
  • Run daily huddles and weekly trade meetings with clear expectations
  • Track milestones, progress, and field productivity
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, photos, and documentation
  • Communicate clearly with the project team and leadership — no surprises, no scrambling
  • Identify risks, conflicts, and gaps early
  • Manage urban logistics and tight-footprint conditions
  • Ensure work is executed intentionally so time does not kill margin
  • CloseoutDrive punch lists to completion — not delay
  • Coordinate final inspections and certificates of occupancy
  • Lead final trade walks and as-built coordination
  • Deliver a professional, organized turnover to ownership
  • What You Bring 10+ years as a commercial Superintendent or field leader
  • Experience with adaptive reuse, urban infill, or complex commercial projects
  • Strong sequencing and field coordination skills
  • Confidence managing tight sites, active environments, and multiple trades
  • Familiarity with Procore, Buildertrend, or similar toolsOSHA 30 (or willingness to complete)
