To support the Department of Human Services, the full-time DHS Program Specialist will evaluate human services program delivery, provide training and guidance to staff, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Identifies training needs and develops specialized training for staff and community organizations
Reviews casework and provides guidance, monitoring performance and offering feedback
Evaluates program effectiveness and suggests improvements to enhance service delivery
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant professional experience in social services or a related field
Graduate coursework may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis, up to two years
Experience equivalent to three years in human services work as a state employee or contractor
Completion of a criminal history disclosure form and fingerprinting may be required
Ability to analyze data and evaluate program effectiveness
