Assistant General Manager

Key Responsibilities: Support the General Manager in the overall operation of the restaurant and beach club Lead daily front-of-house operations and ensure exceptional service standards Be highly visible and engaged on the floor, setting the tone for both the guest experience and team Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing hospitality team Maintain consistent standards across service, food and beverage, cleanliness, and guest interaction Manage reservations, seating, service flow, and high-volume periods effectively Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism and sound judgment Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless front- and back-of-house communication Support beverage, nightlife, and entertainment operations Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory, ordering, and cost controls Monitor sales, labor, and operating performance while identifying opportunities to improve profitability Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company standards Support special events, activations, and high-profile guest experiences Collaborate with hotel leadership and other departments to ensure a seamless overall guest experience Qualifications 5–7+ years of hospitality management experience, preferably in upscale or luxury environments Full-service restaurant management experience is required Previous nightlife, beach club, pool club, or entertainment venue experience strongly preferred Proven experience leading and developing high-performing front-of-house teams Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, labor management, and financial performance Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Strong guest recovery and conflict-resolution abilities Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule based on business needs Ability to remain calm, composed, and highly engaged during high-volume service Hospitality or business degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
