Supporting the VA ESOM contract, the full-time Remote Risk Mitigation Analyst will identify, document, and track non-cyber risks affecting application recovery while providing analytical and coordination support to technical staff in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
Collect and review contingency plans, system diagrams, and recovery requirements
Assist in identifying various risks related to processes, staffing, and technology dependencies
Maintain a risk and corrective action register, monitoring remediation progress and escalating overdue actions
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline
5 years of relevant experience, with the option to substitute 8 years of additional experience for education
Experience in technology risk, operational resilience, or disaster recovery
Knowledge of risk assessment and corrective action tracking
Ability to read technical plans and summarize recovery risks accurately
