Nurse Educator RN – Staff Development

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator RN to lead clinical education and staff development in our long-term and post-acute care setting. In this resident-centered, faith-based, and mission-driven environment, you will design and deliver orientation, in-services, and competency-based training for nursing staff, promoting compassionate, high-quality, and compliant care. You will support quality improvement, infection control, and regulatory readiness while coaching nurses in best practices. Plan, coordinate, and deliver orientation and ongoing clinical education for nursing staff. Assess staff competencies and develop individualized learning plans. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and policies. Support quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety initiatives. Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and performance gaps. Maintain accurate education, competency, and in-service documentation. Coach and mentor nurses to strengthen clinical judgment and best practices. Participate in audits, surveys, and follow-up action plans related to education.
