Job Description:
We are looking for dependable, 3-5-year experienced individuals who take pride in their work and are interested in joining a growing HVAC contracting company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install commercial HVAC ductwork according to plans and specifications
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork
- Install supply, return, exhaust, and fresh-air duct systems
- Install duct fittings, transitions, elbows, dampers, and accessories
- Hang and properly support ductwork
- Read and understand mechanical/HVAC drawings and blueprints
- Perform modifications and repairs to existing duct systems
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on active construction sites
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow company and jobsite safety requirements
Requirements:
- Must speak English & Spanish
- Previous experience installing HVAC ductwork
- Experience with commercial construction preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and use standard sheet metal/HVAC tools
- Ability to read mechanical plans is preferred
- Must be reliable and able to arrive at jobsites on time
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have reliable transportation to jobsites throughout South Florida
- Must be able to perform physical construction work, including lifting materials and working from ladders when required
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
