Job Description:
The Pipe Layer is responsible for setting up pipe lazer equipment and installing manholes, ensuring accurate alignment and placement of pipes used in storm and sanitary sewer systems. The role involves working with various pipe materials including PVC, HDPE, concrete, and steel, and requires adherence to safety procedures and effective teamwork to complete tasks across multiple job sites as needed.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate pipe lazer equipment to ensure precise pipe alignment Install manholes according to project specifications Lay and fit pipes made from PVC, HDPE, concrete, and steel Perform work related to storm and sanitary sewer systems Read and interpret blueprints and measurements for pipe installation Maintain safety standards and participate in occasional safety trainings Travel occasionally between multiple job sites to complete assignments
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in pipe laying Proficient in pipe lazer operation and manhole installation Familiarity with measurement tools and blueprint reading Knowledge of safety procedures related to pipe laying Physical stamina to handle demanding outdoor work Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills\nCompany
