Production Associate

Responsibilities: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment at all times. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping and general janitorial duties in production areas. Sort production materials efficiently to support smooth manufacturing operations. Conduct general labor and general production support tasks as needed on the production floor. Assist with industrial cleaning activities to reduce hazards and maintain safety standards. Monitor work areas for potential fire risks and housekeeping deficiencies and report concerns promptly. Apply basic combustible dust and fire prevention principles during daily tasks. Support quality control efforts by keeping workspaces orderly and materials properly sorted. Follow workplace safety practices, procedures, and guidelines consistently. Arrive reliably for scheduled shifts and work overtime on Fridays when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial work in a manufacturing or production setting. Experience in quality control support through maintaining clean and organized work areas. Comfort working in a general production environment with routine physical tasks

Work Environment: The role is based in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility, where conditions may vary with the seasons. Team members work on either a first shift from 7:00 AM to 5:10 PM Monday through Friday or a third shift from 9:00 PM to 7:10 AM Monday through Friday, with overtime typically available on Fridays. The environment involves working on the production floor, performing physical tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and sorting materials, and adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Glasgow, KY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
