Head of Funds @ AI Financial Technology Platform

The Role: The Head of Funds will take ownership of the company’s funds practice from both a legal and business perspective.

Responsibilities will include: Leading the existing funds business and the fund secondaries practice, advising on LP transfers, secondaries, and related private funds matters. Setting the direction for the secondaries offering and determining how the funds and secondaries practices should be structured and evolve. Managing and developing the existing funds team, and hiring and building out additional lawyers as the secondaries practice grows. Overseeing senior client relationships and significant matters across both practices. Working closely with legal, operational, sales, SDR, and business development leadership in the US and UK to support growth. Taking responsibility for the performance and P&L of the practice.

The ideal candidate will have: Approximately 10+ years of experience. Strong private funds experience. Deep experience in fund secondaries. Meaningful experience with LP transfers and related funds work. Experience operating at the Counsel, junior Partner, Partner, or equivalent level. Experience managing and developing lawyers. The ability to hire and build a team. Comfort working across US and European time zones.

New York: is strongly preferred.
