Required Skills & Experience8 + years' overall experience in software development Software engineering, application design and data architecture experience Experience in big data platform development working with technologies such Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Impala, KafkaProven track record of execution and delivery Experience in dealing with multi-level organizations Demonstration of leadership qualities and ability to work in a group environment Specialized knowledge of Big Data infrastructure and analytics Proven experience with Python, Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQLDeep understanding of big data, distributed parallel processing and High-Performance Computing (HPC) Understanding of network technologies (e.g., SSL, load balancing) Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex subject matter to non-technical audiences Comfortable in a matrix organization, collaborating with developers and technical business partners (Model developers/quants) 4-year degree in computer science
