InProcessing Coordinator IIThe InProcessing Coordinator II provides support for all aspects of the Inprocessing program, the Ready 2 Work system, and the Security Screening Information System (SSIS). This role supports the Security Services Manager, InProcessing Program Manager, Access Authorization Program Manager, and Fitness for Duty personnel in processing applicants for access to Columbia Generating Station. The position facilitates inprocessing activities across the agency to ensure an efficient training and badging process. It requires direct communication with department administrators and contractors and involves working with limited supervision. The role demands strong technical and organizational abilities, a high degree of independence and accuracy, and frequent interaction with all levels of management, staff, and contractors. The coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for all access-related requests for Columbia Generating Station, including unescorted access, badging, reinvestigations, drug testing, and training. Responsibilities include scheduling applicants for inprocessing activities such as Access Authorization, Dosimetry, Fitness for Duty, Occupational Health, Personality Assessment Inventory testing, and Training. The coordinator prepares inprocessing packets, prints travelers, and schedules appointments in Ready 2 Work. They approve badge requests in SSIS and conduct applicant checks against the NRC Escalated Enforcement website. The role ensures that all required training qualifications are assigned before applicants arrive and provides technical support for training, badge requests, qualifications, and process coordination for site organizations and contractors. Additional duties include handling confidential information, performing administrative and technical tasks as needed, and providing administrative support to the InProcessing Program Manager, Fitness for Duty, and Access Authorization programs. Candidates must have a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and two years experience in roles related to project planning, event planning, scheduling, badging, training, drug testing, or working with confidential information; OR an Associates degree from an accredited college or university and four years experience in roles related to project planning, event planning, scheduling, badging, training, drug testing, or working with confidential information; OR a high school diploma or GED and six years experience in roles related to project planning, event planning, scheduling, badging, training, drug testing, or working with confidential information. Experience in the nuclear or law enforcement industry and knowledge of 10 CFR Part 26 and 10 CFR Part 73 are preferred. The role requires the ability to learn company policies and applicable state and federal laws, handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly, communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, and contractors, and demonstrate strong administrative and computer skills. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with inprocessing functions, large event coordination, scheduling, and training and badging requirements; understanding of processes related to unescorted access; knowledge of state and federal laws governing Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty at nuclear facilities; and experience with software applications such as SSIS, Ready 2 Work, and Asset Suite.
