Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Colorado Springs, COFull TimeABOUT THE ROLEPrimarily responsible for the oversight, coordination and planning of daily production activities to ensureuninterrupted supply, and delivery of product to our customers across two portable plants, one producing Road Base and the other producing rip-rap. Working closely with the Plant Manager and hourly workforce, enhances efficiencies in operations, while maintaining a strong safety culture. This role will also support the Colorado Front Range Aggregates Business in submiting Capex projects for approval and managinginventory levels in SAP.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHSupervises, coordinates and monitors plant activities to include the maintenance of equipment. Supports and assists personnel in achieving timely and efficient production schedules Investigates abnormal operating events, or equipment failures to determine the cause, and makesadjustments, repairs and/or modifications, as needed. Performs daily inspections on the plant Ensures conformance with policies and procedures, safety regulations, and local, State and Federal laws and regulations. Analyses operational data and reconfigures operating areas as necessary to provide adequate, economical service Oversees the overall safety of all personnel working at, or visiting the site. Ensures proper documentation of operations activities in logs and/or incident reports. Maintains an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers service Facilitates regular staff meetings and safety toolbox talks. Regularly communicates Company financial goals and objectives to direct reports, and ensures they are performing activities daily that support those goals. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Required Work Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Demonstrated leadership. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint
