Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is looking for a Chip Runner to assist with the operations of the poker room by assisting guests with the redemption and sale of chips. A vital part of the functionality of the poker room, this position will act as a mobile cashier so be prepared to be on the move and on your feet. This is an entry level position. Where You'll Make an Impact Providing exemplary customer service with a professional demeanor. Redemption and sale of cash and chips to guests. Assisting guest with seating and chip distribution. Filling dealer trays. Assisting dealers and supervisors in the starting, combining, and breaking of games. Complying with company policies and procedures, internal controls, and Title 31.Ensuring the safety and security of internal and external guests by notifying management of any suspicious or unusual activities. Attending training and meetings when required. Maintaining the cleanliness of work area, including the collection of chip trays, and returning them to designated areas. Skills You'll Need to Succeed Exemplary customer service. Math skills (ability to count).Handle cash and chip transactions. Physically push chip cart around the poker room. Trainable. Independent. Hard worker. Strong communication skills. A Few Must Haves A high school diploma or GED equivalent Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
