Senior Accountant

What You’ll Do: Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and Month End Close Oversee revenue recognition, distribution fee accounting, and royalty/participant statement preparation. Maintain accurate and current records using Quick Books Online and Expense Management system. Collaborate with distribution, marketing, and licensing teams to track financial deal details. Manage relationships with tax professionals and banking partners to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Required Skills: 4+ years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with background in entertainment, media, or distribution. Proficiency in Quick Books Online. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus. In-depth understanding of revenue recognition, especially regarding licensing and distribution deals. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a flexible hybrid work environment.

Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.4+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally within the media, entertainment, or film distribution fields.
