Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts

Hours: 40 hours/week Weekend: Required as needed Holiday: Required — 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday On-Call: Required — minimum 7 shifts, maximum 10 shifts during the assignment Floating: Not required Scrub Color: Green

Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required per client scheduling requirements.3 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred for the role. Strong experience assisting with invasive cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. Impella experience required. Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience required. Permanent pacemaker placement experience preferred. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab environment.

Position Summary: The Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist is responsible for preparing procedure rooms and equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, monitoring hemodynamics, operating specialized equipment, and supporting advanced circulatory devices including Impella and IABP.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare procedure rooms, sterile trays, and specialized equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures. Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures. Support temporary and permanent pacemaker placements. Assist with Impella and IABP circulatory support devices. Set up, calibrate, and monitor hemodynamic equipment. Obtain, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data, cardiac output, and oximetry readings. Operate power injectors and associated sterile equipment. Assist with patient positioning and monitoring. Maintain digital imaging and cardiovascular information systems (CVIS).Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, radial band application, and hemostasis. Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias. Maintain inventory and ensure procedure readiness. Follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols. Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality checks. Participate in the department's on-call rotation. Safely lift up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and stand for extended periods.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Applied Science program. Associate or Bachelor's degree in a health science field preferred. Required Certifications / Licensure: BLS – AHARadiology CertificationARRT preferred State Radiologic License, if applicable

Additional Facility Requirements: ACLS must be obtained within 3 months of employment if not already held. RCIS certification or Radiologic Technologist License within one year of hire is preferred/facility requirement as applicable.
