About the role

Medical Assistant Hours include a combination of early and late start times, and 3 Saturdays per month. No Sunday shifts or major holiday work required. Our clinic is located at the MacNeal Professional building located at 3231 S Euclid Ave, Berwyn, IL. Bilingual Spanish highly preferred. Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.BLS CPR by the American Heart Association.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, OR one year of Medical Assistant work experience can be substituted for the successful completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • In summary, the Medical Assistant's primary responsibilities include providing direct patient care, handling patient registration, scheduling appointments, and performing various office-related tasks.
  • Must obtain at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire date:
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
  • Failure to provide your certification may lead to disciplinary action, up to termination.

Pay Range: $20.05 - $28.14 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
