About the role
Madison Davis is partnering with a leading law firm on a search for an experienced Pricing Manager to join its growing pricing function. This is a fully remote opportunity offering a base salary of up to $190K, depending on experience. The Pricing Manager will work closely with firm leadership, attorneys, Finance, and Business Development to develop and execute pricing strategies across sophisticated client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with attorneys and senior stakeholders on pricing strategy for new and existing matters Develop and evaluate alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), including fixed fees, blended rates, volume-based arrangements, and other customized structures Build financial models to assess revenue, profitability, realization, and margin Support client pitches, RFPs, rate negotiations, and matter budgeting Analyze historical matter performance and provide data-driven pricing recommendations Monitor matter performance against budgets and pricing assumptions Partner with Finance and Business Development to improve pricing processes, reporting, and commercial decision-making Present pricing recommendations and financial analysis to senior stakeholders Ideal Background: Pricing experience within a law firm or professional services environment Strong understanding of law firm economics, including rates, realization, utilization, profitability, and matter budgeting Hands-on experience developing and analyzing AFAsAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to attorneys and senior leadership Strong commercial judgment and stakeholder-management skills
