Travel CVICU RN - $1,934 per week

Job Overview: Seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position involves working in the Cardiac Surgical ICU, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting. Utilize advanced clinical skills to monitor patient conditions and make timely interventions. Administer and titrate various medications and drips, including vasopressors and sedatives. Perform 12-lead EKGs and assist in diagnostic testing as needed. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including intensivists and respiratory therapists. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff and support a team-oriented environment. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements while providing high-quality patient care. Shift and Scheduling This position involves night shifts with a commitment to working a minimum of six weekend shifts within a six-week scheduling cycle. Candidates should be prepared for flexible scheduling that meets department needs while also accommodating approved time off requests.

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience is required. Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. CRRT certification is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Additional Information: Professionals in this role must be willing to float to other ICU units or provide assistance as needed. The position requires availability for additional training and orientation days. Dress Code The designated scrubs for this unit are navy blue.
