Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, urban design, architecture or a related field or four years related work experience Six years of professional experience in urban planning or community development Some supervisory experience Certification by American Institute of Certified Planners or NC Certified Zoning Official or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment Valid NC driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record Work ScheduleMonday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00pm. Paid bi-weekly. Nightly meetings, such as Planning Board and City Council, required. Closing DateApplication and instructions are available here.
