About the role

Role Overview: Join a dedicated pharmacy team as a full-time Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist in a behavioral health setting. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy, ensure accurate dispensing, and promote safe medication use. Supervise supportive personnel, evaluate medication orders, and provide counseling and education to patients. Participate in departmental meetings and committees, and serve as a medication therapy resource for staff training, drug information, and care transitions.
Key Responsibilities: Manage workflow and oversee technicians, interns, and volunteers to ensure compliance with regulations. Assess and modify medication use based on patient condition, organ function, and therapies. Document activities and communication accurately. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and safety in medication processes. Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience; supervision experience is not mandatory. Licensed Pharmacist with Medication Therapy Services certification in MO. Strong knowledge of medication management, patient counseling, and regulatory compliance.
