Training Lead - Procedure / Training

Overview In this role you will lead the design, development, and delivery of training for Savannah River Remediation, focusing on procedural and instructional content within a nuclear environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert technical content into compliant training materials and ensure qualification milestones are met. The position emphasizes ADDIE-driven design, hands-on instructor responsibilities, and readiness for security access. This is a mission-critical role shaping training practices at a DOE site. Compensation / Benefits Competitive compensation Group health benefits 401(k) with company match Vacation and PTOPre-tax benefit plans (FSA)Discounts & savings program Responsibilities Analyze and convert technical/administrative content into compliant instructional material Achieve and maintain Drill Controller qualification within two months Achieve and maintain OJT/JPM Instructor/Evaluator qualification within three months Obtain Instructor qualifications in a designated Liquid Waste facility within six months Present lesson materials at the established instructional level per Operations and Training Management Key requirements Consecutive employment in a comparable training role in the past five years Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Power Point)Eight years of verifiable training experience in a nuclear environment with at least three years in a lead/management role Knowledge of ADDIE process and DOE Order 426.2 Experience with e-learning, scenario-based training, LMS (e.g., Focus Learning Vision) or similar Ability to obtain and maintain DOE site access Valid driver’s license and means of transportation Background in safety-related training delivery (Documented Safety Analysis, Technical Safety Requirements)Excellent oral and written communication Team leadership and collaboration Strong organizational and time-management skills Developing e-learning products with modern software Scenario-based training in a simulator Using Learning Content Management Systems (LMS)
