Overview As a UI/UX Visual Designer/Developer, you will craft engaging user experiences and translate requirements into intuitive interfaces. You’ll work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to shape solutions within an Agile/Scrum environment. Expect to create wireframes, flows, and UI specifications, conduct user research, and uphold usability standards that scale with the team. This contract role offers the chance to influence product design and user outcomes in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Collaborate with Business Analysts to define innovative solutions Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps Present and defend designs to peers and executive stakeholders Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback Establish and promote design and usability guidelines, best practices and standards Establish a design process that fits within the Agile/Scrum development process for an expanding team Key requirements 3+ years of UI or UX experienceA portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX design Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps Proficiency with Balsamiq Mockup, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Java Script for rapid prototyping (a plus)Excellent visual design skills and understanding of user-system interaction Ability to present designs and defend solutions to stakeholders Experience working in Agile/Scrum (a plus)BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction or related fieldstrong communication and presentation abilitiescreative problem solvingcollaboration across cross-functional teamsHTMLCSSJava Script
