Human Resources Information System Analyst

Start Date: ASAPWork Type: 6-month contract with potential to convertSalary: $105K-$115K Job DescriptionThe HRIS Administrator/Analyst supports the daily administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of our clients Human Resources Information Systems, with primary responsibility for ADP Workforce Now and SAP SuccessFactors. This role combines hands-on HRIS administration with project-based work focused on modernizing HR processes through automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Partnering closely with the HR team, Organizational Transformation Office, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders, you will help improve the employee experience by streamlining workflows, enhancing reporting capabilities, and ensuring the integrity of critical HR data. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to balance day-to-day operational support with longer-term technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Configure, maintain, and optimize system settings, workflows, and permissionsProduce custom and recurring reports, analyze HRIS data, and ensure accuracy across dashboards and organizational reportingProcess routine HRIS transactions and ensure timely completion of daily system activitiesProvide user support, troubleshooting, and training for employees and managersLead or support HR technology projects focused on automation, AI-enabled solutions, and process optimizationCollaborate with the Organizational Transformation Office and cross-functional teams on initiatives that enhance HR operations and improve the employee experienceMaintain system documentation and safeguard confidential employee informationMonitor emerging HR technologies and recommend system upgrades, enhancements, and process improvementsCoordinate with internal partners to support audit activities and compliance requirementsEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations Key Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 6 years of experience supporting HRIS platforms or similar enterprise business systemsExperience partnering with IT, Information Security, and Internal Audit on compliance initiativesStrong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver process improvement initiativesHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insightsProficiency with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BIAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and macrosStrong understanding of HR business processes, including recruiting, payroll, benefits, talent management, and complianceExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong customer service orientation with the ability to support employees at all levels of the organizationAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing competing prioritiesKnowledge of HR regulations and employment compliance requirementsSystem administration experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or SAP SuccessFactors preferredExperience building cross-platform automations or AI-driven workflows preferredExperience administering SharePoint sites preferred
