About the role

An international, European Investment Bank is looking for a Trading Operations Analyst for both International and Domestic trade settlements. You will be joining a strong and collaborative team with a wealth of experience and knowledge to aid in these activities. The functions performed by this role include the entire life cycle of trades just after execution including: Managing the digital flow of trades into books and records and performing any reject maintenance Pre-matching of trades diligently as early as trade date Settlement of domestic and foreign securities in the relevant markets Daily P&S Report review Perform corporate action reorg activities Resolve moderately complex issues when they arise Perform Cash payments for trade settlement, collateral movement and other firm needs Regulatory system review/error correction of Equity Trading flow Reconcile internal general ledger and bank accounts (cash and securities) at the close of business daily Additional non-settlement/trade related functions: Send out documentation requests for the onboarding of New Accounts Collect documents during refreshes/additional information needs for our current accounts Management of sub accounts (creation/update/close) Ad-hoc projects / Quarterly account reviews
Desired Qualifications include: Knowledge of:
  • FIS Phase 3ClearstreamDTCCCTMUnderstanding of Financial Reporting (Balancing Accounts, Debits, Credits, Journal Entries)
  • Strong problem solving/investigative skills
  • Organized and able to prioritize critical tasks
  • Experience in Institutional Brokerage/Trading Operations a plus but can train eager candidates new to the industry
