Diesel Technician

Hogan Transportation is seeking a 2nd Shift Diesel Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair our fleet of tractors and trailers. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot engine, brake, and electrical issues, complete DOT and safety inspections, and accurately document all work. Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel tractors and trailers Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on fleet equipment Troubleshoot engine, air brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems Complete DOT, safety, and compliance inspections Use diagnostic software and tools to identify issues Document all repairs, parts used, and labor in maintenance systems Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop work area Communicate repair status and recommendations to supervisors Follow all company, safety, and environmental procedures Support teammates to keep fleet operating reliably on 2nd shift diesel engine diagnostics truck and trailer repair preventive maintenance hydraulic systems air brake systems electrical troubleshooting welding and fabrication use of diagnostic software DOT and safety inspections maintenance documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications (preferred) Diesel technology or heavy equipment maintenance vocational training (preferred) CDL Class A or B (a plus) EPA refrigerant certification (a plus)
