Project Engineer

Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Orange, CA, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with project design reviews, preparing technical documentation, and maintaining project schedules and takeoffs and 3D modeling of Civil plans. The role involves coordinating with project managers, field teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that project requirements and specifications are met. The Project Engineer will help track progress, address technical issues, and support quality control and safety compliance. This position also includes preparing reports, analyzing project data, and contributing to continuous improvement of project processes. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents. Proficiency with project management tools and basic scheduling or cost-tracking software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on-site in Orange, CA, and occasionally visit project locations as needed. Knowledge of construction processes, codes, and standards; experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus. Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
