Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager

Inside Sales Manager On-site location: Full-time Salary Position Manufacturers Reserve Supply (MRS) is seeking a Manager to oversee our Inside Sales Team & ensure that we provide unparalleled customer service and support to our customer base. As a leader in the Building Materials Industry for over 95 years, we need a candidate with strong leadership skills to ensure our Inside Sales Team is the "best of the best". The candidate must possess a strong eye for detail, have an ability to manage multiple priorities at one time & be self-driven. This role is about building a team, delivering customer service that our customers can't find anywhere else, and solving problems with confidence and a positive attitude. Deliver the best customer service. Set the standard for every customer interaction and make sure every call leaves the customer feeling valued and taken care of. Make clear, timely decisions on customer issues and pricing, and find creative solutions when challenges come up. Expand customer relationships, increase average order size through cross-selling and add-on materials, and help develop new business opportunities. Work closely with our Outside Sales Team, Operations, Purchasing and other departments to close business and keep orders and deliveries running smoothly. Online Sales: Manage our online ordering systems and processes. Help with specialty store portals and simplify processes. Build strong product knowledge across the team, and lead monthly sales meetings. Look for new opportunities for development, new processes and sales. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Minimum of 3+ years related experience in Customer Service/Sales Minimum of 3+ years in a leadership/management capacity overseeing at least two employees Proficiency of MS Office/Excel and experience using ERP/ Inventory Management systems Must possess a high attention to detail and have a professional and polished phone demeanor Excellent time management and organizational skills, must be a team player, have a collaborative Prior experience within the building materials industry is preferred but not required· Knowledge of transportation, logistics or truck dispatching a plus Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience Bachelor's Degree a plus While performing the duties of this job, the employee can expect prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a telephone and computer Must have the manual dexterity to file and use a computer keyboard, calculator and telephone A company paid medical plan Dental, vision, FSA, Group Term Life, LTD and AD&DCompany Paid Holidays Access to our remodeled café, with refrigerator, toaster, toaster-oven, water cooler, and free coffee New facilities that are beautifully manicured.
