Registered Nurse Progressive Care / Telemetry UnitBanner Health's Thunderbird Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Progressive Care / Telemetry Unit. This is our 6th Floor, General Medical PCU Unit, that focuses total care patients Telemetry experience is preferred, however, we will consider all areas of nursing and train a new to service nurse. We are currently seeking experienced PCU Nurses but at this time we are accepting applications for those that have Telemetry, ICU, Home Health, Skilled Nursing, Medical/Surgical or any other acute or critical care background. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will care for a wide variety of patients. the 6th floor is a 40-bed general Medical PCU floor with the largest amount of variety, including multisystem complexly ill patients. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will care for a wide variety of patients, such as vascular, cardio-thoracic surgical, heart failure, Neuro and respiratory. Our patients come from the ICU, as upgrades from floors due to a change in their acuity and as admits from the ED. Skills needed for this unit include self-driven nurses who can respond quickly to changes in the patient's condition, critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, positive mindset, willing to overcome barriers and challenges by implementing evidence-based practice and flexibility. Our model supports learning at all levels. This is a full-time night shift opportunity working 3 12hr shifts a week. Rotating weekends and holidays required. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.
