Pay Range: $24 to $34 per hour (DOE/DOQ)Hours per Week: 40 hours

Position Summary: The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C I) supports nursing services by providing clinical care, medication support, and routine testing for clients, primarily those with behavioral health needs. This role also coordinates with providers, pharmacies, and care teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including observation, vital signs, and clinical support Administer medications (oral and injectable) and monitor for side effects Collect patient history, perform medication reconciliation, and document visits Perform in-house testing (e.g., EKG, phlebotomy, urine screening) as ordered Process prescription refills and prior authorizations Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and prescribing systems Collaborate with providers, pharmacies, and care teams Support medication services in clinic and residential/respite settings Educate clients on medication use and self-administration Ensure compliance with confidentiality laws and agency policies

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program Eligible for Washington State MA-C certification At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
