Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantfor afull-time Lead APP opportunity in Lafayette, Louisiana .This is a substantive clinical leadership position combining hands-on Emergency Medicine practice with administrative and operational oversight. The Lead NP/PA will support the APP team while partnering with physician and APP leadership on clinical performance, quality, operations and continued program development. Opportunity Highlights

Maintain an active Emergency Medicine practice while serving as a clinical and operational leader for the NP/PA team. The Lead APP will: Support employed Emergency Medicine NPs and PAsCollaborate closely with physician and APP leadership Advance clinical quality and performance-improvement initiatives Facilitate communication between clinical teams and leadership Support credentialing, privileging, quality oversight and risk-management initiatives Participate in strategic and operational planning Contribute to documentation and performance initiatives, including CDI and clinical metrics Help ensure compliance with applicable NP/PA practice standards and facility requirements Support accreditation, certification and recognition efforts Practice Environment Join a substantial Emergency Medicine program managing approximately67,000 patient visits annuallyacross a45-bed Emergency Department .The established coverage model includes54.43 physician hours and 55.14 NP/PA hours, creating a robust physician-and-APP practice environment supported byEpic .The position also requirescross-credentialing at affiliated regional facilities, expanding the Lead APP's involvement across the broader Emergency Medicine program.
