About the role

Part-Time Caregiver Orange County, CACareWorks Health Services is hiring Part-Time Caregivers to provide compassionate, reliable in-home care to clients throughout Orange County, CA. If you enjoy helping others and are looking for a flexible part-time caregiving opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. Caregivers provide one-on-one support based on each client's individual needs and care plan.
Position Details
Position: Part-Time Caregiver / Home Care Aide
Location: Orange County, CA
Pay: $18.75$22.00 per hour, depending on the case
Schedule: Part-time; flexible based on available client shifts and your availability
Shifts: Morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend opportunities
Pay Schedule: Weekly direct deposit every Friday
Care Setting: One-on-one, non-medical in-home care
Responsibilities:
  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Toileting and incontinence care
  • Mobility and transfer assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable guidelines
  • Companionship and client engagement
  • Grocery shopping and approved errands
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and approved outings
  • Activities of daily living (ADLs)
Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months of caregiving experience
  • Active HCA registration or willingness to obtain one
  • Willingness to complete required Live Scan/background check
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Dependable and responsible
  • Comfortable providing personal care and assisting with ADLsGood communication skills
  • Compassionate and respectful approach to client care

Requirements:
  • Active California HCA registration or willingness to apply and complete Live Scan fingerprinting
  • Valid Driver's License or State ID2nd Form of ID (Passport or Social Security Card)
  • Current TB clearance or willingness to obtain it by the required deadlineCPR certification or willingness to obtain itReliable transportation to client homes
  • Car Registration (if applicable)
  • Car Insurance (if applicable)
  • Smartphone for scheduling, communication and electronic visit verification
  • Professional references
  • Willingness to complete a post-offer drug screen (in office)
We are looking for caregivers who are reliable, honest, adaptable, service-minded and receptive to feedback. CareWorks caregivers are employees, not independent contractors. Assignment availability depends on client needs, location, schedule and caregiver qualifications.
