Fund Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Maintain accounting records and general ledger activity for assigned funds and related entities. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.Perform account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies. Support capital calls, distributions, investor activity, and related reporting. Assist with fund-level financial reporting and supporting schedules. Work across multiple funds, entities, and complex investment structures. Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers as needed. Support annual audits, tax preparation, and other financial reporting requirements. Review accounting activity for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and controls. Assist with special projects and financial analysis as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3-5 years of accounting experience. Private equity, fund accounting, or alternative asset management experience strongly preferred. Real estate investment or real estate fund experience is a plus, but not required. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.Experience preparing financial statements and performing general ledger reconciliations. Exposure to capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and partnership accounting preferred. Experience working with multiple funds, entities, or complex organizational structures. Advanced Excel skills. Yardi experience is a plus. CPA or progress toward CPA preferred, but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working collaboratively across teams.
