Key Qualifications:
Valid certification in Visual Impairment and/or Orientation & Mobility Experience teaching or providing services to students with visual impairments Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)Capable of working independently and traveling between school sites Flexible, collaborative, and adept at adapting to new environments
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction and services for students with visual impairments in multiple schools throughout the district Provide expertise in adapting materials, accessibility, and orientation & mobility training Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families on student accommodations and progress Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and related assessments Maintain communication and documentation as required by district policies Why take this opportunity?
