This role offers stable, full-time work with consistent hours focused on commercial projects, and provides opportunities to lead a team, train technicians and installers, and grow technical skills across systems such as VRF, VAV, central AC, RTUs, splits, gas, electric, chillers, boilers, AHUs, and BAS.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Conduct preventive maintenance, including filter replacement, system inspections, and performance assessments. Collaborate on integrating HVAC systems with Building Automation Systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency and performance. Communicate effectively with clients to assess HVAC needs and provide informed recommendations. Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and complies with relevant regulations.
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and diagnostics. Universal EPA, OSHA 10 or 30 certification – preferred. Leadership experience training and managing technicians and installers. Ability to travel 24‑50% of the time, including occasional overnight stays. Proficiency in reading HVAC blueprints and technical diagrams. Experience with BAS integration and HVAC control systems is a plus. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Valid HVAC certification/license as required by local regulations.
