Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers; lead design reviews and quality control checks. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; communicate progress and technical issues to project managers and clients. Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to proposal development and technical scopes of work.
Qualifications:

Minimum 7-10 years of mechanical design experience with demonstrated leadership on medium to large commercial or institutional projects.
Proven expertise in HVAC and plumbing system design, load calculations, equipment selection, and energy analysis.
Hands-on experience with Trace 700 for HVAC simulation and energy modeling.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and working within a BIM coordination process.
Strong knowledge of building codes and standards (ASHRAE, ICC, NFPA) and practical application in design and construction.
Excellent technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills; ability to present design concepts clearly.
