Travel Speech Therapist Travel Speech Therapist | $2340 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 hours/week
Location: Cumming, GA
Start Date: April 25, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: M-F 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Weekends: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks (preferred: 4 weekends per 4 weeks)
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of SLP experienceBLS certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior acute care experience
- Experience with MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) and/or FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing)
- Additional Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Manage dysphagia and communication impairments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide therapy across various units including ICU and neuro/stroke populations
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
