Director / Managing Director – Pricing Strategy & Execution Private Equity Value Creation | United States | Flexible Location Up to $350k Total Cash (Base + Bonus) + EquityI'm partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed advisory firm looking for an experienced pricing strategy leader to help establish and grow a dedicated Pricing & Margin Expansion practice. This is a genuine opportunity to build something. Not simply join an established consulting team, but help shape the methodology, develop client relationships, originate engagements and build a team around a growing PE value creation offering. The role will involve working directly with PE sponsors, operating partners and portfolio company leadership to identify and deliver measurable EBITDA improvement through pricing. Relevant expertise includes: Pricing strategy, architecture and execution Price realization, elasticity and price waterfalls Value-based pricing and customer segmentation Discount and rebate optimisation Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Commercial excellence and margin expansion Pricing transformation and implementation Business development, client origination and team leadership Who are we looking for? Ideally, someone with McKinsey, Bain or BCG experience, either currently or previously, who has built deep expertise in pricing strategy and commercial transformation. You will likely be operating at Director, Principal, Associate Partner or equivalent level, with a proven record of delivering measurable commercial results and the executive presence to engage confidently with C-suite leadership and PE sponsors. Direct PE experience would be advantageous, but is not essential. More important is your ability to combine technical pricing expertise with commercial leadership and the ambition to build and grow a practice.
