Sales Manager, Packaging New York, New YorkAbout the RoleThis role is with an international packaging organization growing its U.S. presence, providing packaging, trims, RFID, and sustainable product solutions to customers in the apparel, home textile, and retail industries. The Sales Manager focuses on expanding the U.S. customer base, developing new business, and building long-term client partnerships, working closely with teams across the global organization. Schedule Full-time, with travel required within the United States. Compensation$100,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience.
What You'll Do:
The Sales Manager researches and pursues new business opportunities throughout the U.S. market, developing and maintaining lasting relationships with customers and industry partners. This person works to understand customer requirements and identify the products and solutions that best meet their needs, and partners with international teams to coordinate pricing, quotations, samples, production, and deliveries. The role oversees customer projects to ensure clients receive responsive, professional service throughout the process, and includes travel to customer meetings and participation in relevant trade shows and industry events as needed. Required
Qualifications:
- Background in packaging, apparel trims, textiles, fashion, retail, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in account management, sales, and/or business development
- Familiarity with the U.S. apparel, home textile, retail, or packaging industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Ability and willingness to travel within the United StatesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
Existing relationships and connections within the packaging, apparel, or textile industry Self-directed and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
Compensation and Benefits:
- $100,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience
