Pediatric Hospitalist

Nemours Children’s Health in Pensacola seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide inpatient care in partnership with Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart. The physician evaluates and treats pediatric patients, supports clinical quality and care pathways, participates in inpatient rounds and handoffs, and educates pediatric residents. Evaluate and treat hospitalized pediatric patients using appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills. Accept referrals and serve as an admitting, attending or consulting physician based on patient and hospital needs. Contribute to clinical pathways that standardize pediatric care. Participate in initiatives to improve care quality and cost effectiveness. Document care to meet insurance requirements and appeal denials promptly. Participate in inpatient rounds, provide team handoffs and educate pediatric residents.
