IV Certified Pharmacy Technician (Sterile & Non-Sterile Compounding.

Position Overview: The IV Certified Pharmacy Technician (Sterile & Non‐Sterile Compounding) supports pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and verifying compounded medications in compliance with USP, USP, and USP standards. The ideal candidate has cleanroom or compounding experience and a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare sterile and non‐sterile compounded medications using proper aseptic technique and safety protocols. Assist pharmacists in IV preparation and compounding processes. Maintain strict compliance with USP, USP, and USP regulations. Support cleanroom and non‐sterile lab operations, including cleaning, environmental monitoring, and documentation. Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and recordkeeping for all compounded products. Oversee inventory of compounding materials and supplies. Maintain workflow efficiency to support timely, personalized patient care.

Required Qualifications: IV Certification required. Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license/registration in good standing. Experience in sterile and/or non‐sterile compounding preferred. Strong understanding of USP, USP, and USP standards. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and patient safety practices.
