Key Responsibilities:
- As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include:
- Group Therapy Facilitation: You will conduct engaging group sessions where clients can share their experiences, learn coping strategies, and form supportive connections.
- Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling sessions to help clients explore their thoughts and emotions while developing effective coping mechanisms tailored to their unique situations.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans that identify specific issues and set actionable objectives.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track client progress through various evaluation tools and methods to ensure they are on the right path towards recovery.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with other practitioners in a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and consulting on complex cases to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily provide outpatient treatment for young adults aged 18 to 30 who are participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). These clients may face diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal issues. Your role will be to empower these individuals with tools and strategies to enhance their emotional wellbeing and foster resilience.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Active licensure as a Professional Counselor within the state of New Jersey.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
Preferred Experience:
- While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly valued:
- Prior experience working with young adults in a mental health setting, specifically in teletherapy or virtual treatment environments.
- Knowledge or certification in specific therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).Experience with treatment planning and conducting therapeutic assessments.
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, Family Care LLC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
