Appliance Installer / Delivery Driver

About Us: Mashburn Delivery Service has delivered and installed GE appliances since 1959. We have locations in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Colorado.

The Role: Deliver and install appliances at customer homes and job sites, and drive a company truck to scheduled stops.

Responsibilities: Deliver appliances to customer locations with safe transport and handling Install and uninstall appliances according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards Confirm delivery windows and installation details with customers, and explain basic appliance operation Prepare install sites and clean up packaging and debris Resolve minor installation issues, such as leveling appliances or adjusting doors, and report complex issues to management Complete delivery and installation paperwork accurately Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Communicate with dispatch and customers about ETAsFollow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPERequirements Valid driver's license and a current DOT medical card (we pay for the DOT physical if you need one)Acceptable driving record, verified through an MVR and a DOT PSP report Ability to pass a background check required for site badging Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test High school diploma or equivalent Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of installation processes Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times and use proper lifting techniques and equipment to move heavy appliances Strong attention to detail and customer service skills Reliable attendance Ability to work Monday to Friday, with a 5:30am start time. Most days run about 10 hours, and some run up to 12 depending on delivery volume. Preferred Experience in appliance delivery, installation, or moving Familiarity with appliances
