Location: Hazelwood, MO Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Compensation: Temp-to-Hire: $16.50/hourQuality Technician Fill-In Premium: +$1.50/hour when performing Quality Technician duties Upon Full-Time Hire: $17.50/hourQuality Technician Fill-In Premium: +$1.50/hour when applicable
About the Opportunity: CPAY Staffing & Recruiting is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Production Line Operators for a growing manufacturing company in St. Louis, MO.This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in producing quality work. Employees will primarily work as Production Line Operators while receiving cross-training to serve as a Quality Technician Backup when needed. This provides valuable experience, additional responsibilities, and premium pay opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations: Operate and monitor production line equipment safely and efficiently. Load raw materials and remove finished products from the production line. Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and defects throughout production. Trim, stack, package, and prepare finished products for shipment. Maintain production goals while following all quality and safety standards. Complete production records and required documentation work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements. Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors. Assist with minor machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting as directed. Quality Technician BackupCross-train to support the Quality Department as needed. Perform quality inspections on finished products and incoming products meet company specifications and quality standards. Document inspection results and report non-conforming quality issues with production leadership. Support continuous quality improvement established inspection procedures and quality documentation requirements.
Qualifications: Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or quality inspection experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math, measuring, and documentation skills. Willingness to learn multiple job functions through cross-training. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift. Frequently lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery. Ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety standards.
