Lead and grow a well-established Survey Department with a respected civil engineering firm in Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed survey professional ready to oversee operations, mentor staff, manage client relationships, and drive business development while working on a diverse mix of land development, municipal, transportation, and commercial projects.
Requirements:
Connecticut PLS license required
10+ years of land surveying experience
Leadership and project management experience
Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey software
Excellent communication and client management skills
What You'll Do:
Lead and mentor the survey team
Manage multiple survey projects from proposal through delivery
Ensure quality control and project profitability
Support business development and maintain client relationships
Coordinate with engineering and field staff
