Job Description:
Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Duties & Responsibilities Information:
- Wrap and protect leads from paint
- Uses hoists and power lift trucks to move units
- Uses sanding equipment to sand and prep units for final audit
- Makes general decisions as to setup sequences and process monitoring
- Exercises good housekeeping in work area
- Observes good safety practices in performance of job
- Performs daily/weekly TPM tasks and completes checksheets
- Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
- Inspect frames for pits or scratches and apply body filler if needed
- Necessary Skills:
Read and write, follow written process instructions, record information as required.
