Bookkeeper (Hybrid) Murray Moyer, PLLC | Raleigh, NCAre you an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys working directly with clients and helping small businesses stay financially organized and tax-ready? Murray Moyer is seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This is a hybrid position based in Raleigh, North Carolina, offering the opportunity to work with a respected tax resolution, tax preparation, and bookkeeping firm that combines the expertise of CPAs and tax attorneys to deliver exceptional client service. We help individuals and businesses navigate complex tax matters, maintain financial compliance, and make informed business decisions. Our team of CPAs and tax attorneys works collaboratively to provide proactive guidance and personalized solutions for our clients.
What You'll Do:
As a Bookkeeper, you will serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of business clients while supporting our bookkeeping, tax preparation, and tax representation teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building strong client relationships through proactive communication and financial guidance
- Supporting new client discovery, onboarding, and account setup
- Maintaining accurate financial records, general ledgers, and account reconciliations
- Recording and reviewing financial transactions while ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Preparing and delivering quarterly financial reports to clients
- Identifying potential tax-related issues and assisting with estimated tax payment planning
- Coordinating with tax preparation and tax resolution teams to ensure timely delivery of client information
- Providing forward-thinking insights that help clients make informed business decisions
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation, general accounting principles, and financial analysis
- Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Outstanding client service and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field preferred
